Award from the City of Vienna

Sophie Zechmeister-Boltenstern was one of the main winners of the City of Vienna's award for outstanding achievements in culture and science.

 

Rising Star Award

Dr. David Cocovi-Solberg honored for his contributions to flow injection analysis and presented groundbreaking research on new valves for miniaturized HPLC systems.

Starting signal for DANUBElifelines

With the ambitious goal of restoring river corridors in the Danube catchment area, the EU-funded DANUBElifelines (DLL) project has officially started in Vienna. The project is coordinated by BOKU University, where the kick-off event also took place.

ELLS Scientific Student Conference

S&B Business Award 2025

The BOKU/MUW spin-off Rockfish Bio AG was honored in May 2025 with the Science & Business Award (S&B Award) of the Rudolf Sallinger Fund, receiving the main prize of €20,000.
 

Sustainability Day on November 20th

During the 10th BOKU Sustainability Day, Eleonora Charlotte Pichler and Ulrich Sukop from the Department of Food Science and Technology won the first prize with their Pecha-Kucha presentations in the categories Dissertation/Publication and Master’s Thesis.
